I enjoy reading, boating, photography, hiking, spending time with my family, and any activity in the great outdoors! I pride myself on practicing high-quality medicine that emphasizes compassion and paying attention to the fine details. I have one cat named lily and one dog named JB. I am proud of my 3 children and was blessed to have married my high school sweetheart Tammy. I obtained my Doctor of veterinary medicine degree in 1991. I went on to work for the Florida Game and Fish Commission on the endangered Florida panther project in the everglades before I entered the University of Florida Veterinary Medicine program. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in wildlife ecology from the University of Florida in 1986. The bonds we shared with these pets were one of the compelling reasons I became a veterinarian. Frank was the name of my English pointer bird dog, and blue was the name of my redbone hound, and they were my best friends in my teen years. I had dogs, cats, ducks, raccoons, a rescued white-tailed deer, and a bobcat as pets. Our staff is doing their best to ensure your pet will have what they need. If you are calling in for a prescription or diet refill, contact us at 97 or visit our online pharmacy to fill your prescription online and get it delivered right to your door! Please keep in mind, that supplies are limited. Masks are now optional unless you are experiencing signs of covid, have been exposed to someone with covid, or are in your quarantine period, please notify the clinic if you or someone in your household is sick If you do wish to enter the clinic with your pet, we are allowing two clients per pet. You must call to check in for your appointment, curbside or in-person. Also, avoid hugging, kissing, petting or sharing food with your pet. If this is not possible, please make sure to follow necessary safety measures such as washing your hands often, wearing gloves if you are touching your pet, and wearing a mask when taking your pet for a walk. If possible, arrange to have someone take over the routine care of your pet while you recover. However, the CDC does recommend that if you are ill with COVID-19, to limit contact with your pets.
